The fact is that people are far more likely to enjoy something and do it well when they have a strong sense of purpose. This principle holds true even with life itself. We have been given purpose and direction each day to love our creator and to love our neighbors as ourselves. With such purpose, we should begin each new day with joy and excitement. The power of Diamond Hearts is real with shared purpose around the world. Renewed vision is hope, faith, time, prayer, love, and commitment. Join us as we bring 1 million people together to find peace in a time where murders are commonplace, job security nonexistent, and the moral fabric of society falling apart.

Mimi, I came to you in pieces, you put me back together. You caught my vision of teddy bears, books, gold bracelets and Diamond Hearts.

You again taught me integrity. You reminded me life is not always fair. We shared a vision that put us in the hands of God. Open to possibilities that our lives are meant for a higher purpose and that our selfish desire for recognition or success is not nearly as important as the sacrifice that will be required of us when we truly answer God's call.

We are in the world to develop ourselves to our highest potential and Page 1 to make the greatest possible contribution to the world. The call of God is always for us to live with noble purpose, with love as our highest motivation.

Anything that contributes to our total well-being and to the well-being of others is clearly the will of God. When things are going well, we feel safe, independent, and at times even invincible. But when difficulties erupt and we come face to face with death, we discover how fragile life really is.

As I lay on the bed in the hospital emergency room the heart surgeon said, "Give him more morphine, he won't know the difference." I recall crying thinking this might be the end coming to grips for a real need for protection, guidance and provision. As I faced uncertainty and fear I recalled Psalm 23 a source of hope and encouragement for thousands of years and today would be no different.

The thought of death casts a frightening shadow over me, feeling entirely helpless. I had struggled with other enemies, pain, suffering, disease, injury, but strength and courage cannot overcome death. Only one can guide the mind and hands of a skilled surgeon; the God of life, our shepherd.

I called upon my faith putting my belief, trust and loyalty in an offering of myself to God. This I was reminded should be day to day but sometimes we can't; it's too difficult or we get distracted. During these times, we ask God to be patient, giving us time to get back to pleasing him. Through faith I turned everything over to God.

With faith I believe that no matter what happens to me "All will be well." To me it means when I die "All will be well." Faith is confident belief in the way my faith was unwavering; it was without a doubt it would be done in Gods will. God's miracle was my heart doing its own double bypass as a team of heart surgeons prepared to operate. Each of us is born with a unique ability and I was fortunate enough to experience it.

As I began recovery I thought about all the wonderful miracles God performs in nature, with animals, weather, children, rainbows, trees, flowers, the stars, ocean and time. As the healing process continued I thought about my life as a diary where it was meant to write one story yet we write another and our humblest hour is when we compare the volume as it is with what we hoped it would be. Life is divided into three terms that which was, which is, and which will be.

We learn from the past and profit by the present, and from the present, to live better for the future. All of this could not be possible without the greatest power in the world, the power of time.

Time can move the tops of mountains, change the course of mighty rivers, turn granite to dust, heal a wound, change a soul, make dreams come true change your destiny and fill the human heart with love. Time is courage, time is patience, time is faith, and time is vision; the power to see your dreams and plan for the future. Time is forgiveness, the test of truth, the cradle of hope, and the sidewalk of wisdom. Time is the life of the soul.

I was reminded that the power of prayer comes from inside us. It's like a phone ringing then God answers, "I am here, I am listening; your communication has become part of our relationship with God. God has assented to us, to you and to me, to whom we are and to whom we hope to be. "Why now?" because that is God deepest desire. The power of prayer is the power that comes to us when we realize that God can be our point of reference in the midst of all the confusions of our daily lives. He is stead fast rather than the incomplete, frantic inconstancies of ourselves.

God is the power that comes when were able to be centered, anchored in a belief and routed in a truth, which is stronger and deeper than the day to day truths we struggle with. In prayer our hearts and minds can be focused on the eternal truth of God and not the changing, fickle truths of human knowledge and human nature.

The power of prayer is the constant renewal of perspective. Prayer opens our eyes. It extends our horizons. It sheds light into the darkness of our fears, our sorrows, our hopes and joys, our shame and our pride. It gives us new ways of seeing life and relationships, of understanding work and the cost of growing.

The power of prayer is real. You can feel it and depend on it. It comes to us as a gift and we need to do our part. God calls us to pray and through our prayer, God empowers us and gives us strength.

With the empowerment and strength, we are blessed with and experience love; it is all around us. Love is a part of everyday life. The most important thing in the kingdom of God is love in action. It has existed for as long as the world has existed.

Love creates compassion, where compassion generates love. Love and compassion are the most essential gifts one individual can give another and the desire to display these characteristics ought to be the most momentous goal in life. Love is patient and kind. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable; it keeps no records of when it has been wronged. Love rejoices with the truth. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

We are taught that love is patient, kind, unselfish, and faithful. Most of the love seen in the world today is impatient, rude, selfish and temporary. We enter the world in love, just as we leave the world in love, God's love, knowing there are three things that will endure Faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love.

As we are wrapped in our most important piece of clothing, love, we look for peace in our hearts and our mind. Join us in our commitment to share the power of Diamond Hearts with 1 million around the world.

We will fill new Diamond Hearts with hope, faith, courage and destination. We will help those experiencing desperation and loneliness to overcome being all alone. We will help those who have problems overcome them and no one will feel alone by themselves or lack direction as a Diamond Heart. Our legacy is helping Diamond Hearts around the world learn to love life and enjoy it everyday.

Christ has led us in this direction something of substance something that will stand the test of time and last long after material wealth is gone, "Diamond Hearts."
